he dealership which has entered into numerous rugby and football sponsorships throughout the region was approached by Stowmarket Town Youth Team through its Secretary Daryl Bridges who is Transport Manager at the cargo handling, storage, freight forwarding and transport business with bases at Stowmarket and Ipswich.

The sponsorship covered the supply of brand new kit for the newly formed Under-11 Team just accepted into the Suffolk Youth League to play in the Saturday League.  The new macron kit includes shirts, training tops and rain coats for training and matchdays.  The move to a new black and white kit is designed to set the team apart from the Sunday League Team who play in Stowmarket’s gold and black strip.

Explains Daryl Bridges, Transport Manager at Parkside and Stowmarket Town Under-11 Secretary: ‘This new kit has set the team up well for their move into the Saturday League.  They are proud to be wearing the new strip and are playing up to all the attention - by not losing a game so far!’

‘We are grateful for the support of Chassis Cab who are familiar names in community sports sponsorship.  They agreed their support on the first ask and have delivered a welcome-boost to the boys in the team who have played some great games since the start of the season.’

Adds David Scarff Sales Manager at Chassis Cab in Ipswich: ‘We are delighted to sponsor Stowmarket Town’s new Saturday League Team.  They are a highly enthusiastic group of youth players who deserve to have the backing of sponsors to launch them into the new season.  We hope that they continue to put in some of the excellent results they have so far and that one or two of them move on to become regional or national football names of the future.’

The team is coached by Liam Hawkins and Ash Bussey and plays its home fixtures at Old Newton Sports and Social Club.
